The development of African continent is synonymous to youth empowerment; hence, there need to develop them in entrepreneurship and leadership skills in the community. The youth represent a bigger portion of the continent, around 66%, so their involvement in the developmental process is of key importance.
After serving on the board of Afrinic community as an alternate director, some of the underlying issues that need to be addressed and improved on the continent include capacity building, youth and women participation; increase internet penetration rate, etc. With collective participation, my vision is to build Internet for everyone through local hub participation at the country level in conjunction with international mentorship.
